The most misunderstood position on a doubles court is the server's partner. Most players don't even understand what a critical role they can play in the success of the server. The server's partner is going to call the serve direction and create an ever evolving game plan based on the score and the tendencies of the opponents. They need to pay attention to everything that the opponents can and can't do. This frees up the server to focus on two things; serve and first volley.
